Angeline Aow is a seasoned international educator, learning and development specialist, and pedagogical leader with extensive experience across Asia-Pacific, European, Middle-Eastern, and African regions. Starting as a primary school teacher in Sydney, Australia, she expanded her career internationally, including roles at Nanjing International School, China, and currently at Berlin International School, Germany, as a PYP Coordinator (Upper Elementary). Additionally, she serves as an International Advisor focusing on Inclusion via Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism with the Council of International Schools. With a deep background in various educational roles, Angeline is a respected expert in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, having joined the International Baccalaureate Educator Network in 2007. Her passion lies in curriculum development, emphasizing clarity in learning, teaching, and assessment. She is also experienced in school evaluation and authorization for both the IB PYP and Council of International Schools and is an Intercultural Development Inventory® qualified administrator.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Angeline actively contributes to the educational community. In 2019, she launched @WomenEdDE, a regional network under #WomenEd, focusing on supporting women in educational leadership roles and striving to close the gender gap in this field. Her efforts have expanded the network across Germany. Additionally, her personal achievements include being awarded Top PANDA EXECUTIVE in 2018 and being shortlisted for the Global Award for Achievement category of the Rising Star awards in 2021. These recognitions highlight her commitment to promoting diversity in the workplace. Outside her professional life, Angeline enjoys cooking, exploring Berlin’s arts and culture, and spending quality time with her family.
