Story is a coach education programme that deepens your coaching practice so that you are equipped to hold one to one coaching conversations, and continue to develop a coaching approach leadership.

This programme builds on Prologue – An Introduction to Coach-Like Leadership and is a pathway to becoming a fully accredited ICF Coach.

For the first time, we are hosting Story online in order for it to be more accessible. We are offering a timezone that is friendly for the USA, Europe and UAE. We hope to offer programmes in other timezones in 2025 and beyond.

The Logistics & Content

Story is a 46 hour programme comprising 26 hours of online live learning, and 20 hours of guided self-study.

Participants will practise the eight core competencies advocated by the ICF:

  • An understanding of ethical practice
  • Embodiment of a coaching mindset
  • Establishing and maintaining agreements
  • Cultivating trust and psychological safety
  • Maintaining presence
  • Listening actively
  • Evoking awareness
  • Facilitating growth and forwarding thinking

As well as these foundations, we strive to situate your learning within the context of the international school sector, its rich cultural context and developmental priorities.

Your self-study is made up of reflective exercises, coaching practice and a school-based project in which you integrate coaching into an aspect of your role.

Self-Study

Once you have registered, you will be enrolled on our learning platform with access to your guided self-study and the opportunity to be in touch with your peers.
